Director's Meeting

A meeting of the Director's of the Lynchburg Glass corporation was held in the Director's Room of the Peoples National Bank, on Thursday, May 14th [1925] at 11 A. M. with the following present:

N. D. Eller
J. Wm. Gayner
W. H. Loyd.
D. H. Dillard.
Jno. Victor
J. D. Owen
C. I. Snidow

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

The president stated that the meeting was called to consider a report submitted by the Simplex Engineering Co. and whether or not to accept or reject their suggestions.

Mr. Gayner, the General Manager of the Plant, was called on to express his opinion of the report and he submitted a written report which was read by the Secretary.

After a full discussion of these conditions, the Board decided that if possible a full meeting of the Board should act on the matter and in the meantime, Mr. Eller and Mr. Gayner be Instructed to get together to find a man to take charge of production in the plant.
